Job description

This is a mid-level position responsible for developing, testing, and implementing reports, dashboards, data visualizations, and analytical applications., * Become an expert with Meridian data, including claims, memberships, provider, contracts, networks, pharmacy, and clinical subject areas

Participates in meetings with business subject matter experts, decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define goals and requirements for reports, dashboards, and analytics
Designs, develops, and maintains reports, dashboards, and analytical applications using best practice design patterns
Engages with data architects and ETL developers to assist with designing optimal data structures to support BI, reporting, dashboards and analytical datasets
Collaborates with source system developers to identify relevant data to be included in the warehouse and in the big data environment
Assists junior level resources so that they learn the craft of reporting, BI, and analytics
Provide reporting and architectural guidance, technology, and process improvement recommendations
Apply security standards for BI reports
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics / Math / Computer Science / Business Information / Business Administration is required, or equivalent work experience
