Job description

Lead the re-design of RegEd’s product portfolio through research, strategy, design, and development
Gain an understanding of RegEd’s customers and gather feedback early and often to help inform design decisions
Facilitate brainstorming and/or design sessions both internally and externally with customers as needed
Conduct usability and accessibility testing of new and existing products and features, while making constructive recommendations for change
Produce low-and-high fidelity mockups, detailed interaction specs, and prototypes to effectively communicate requirements to developers and QA
Integrate UX research at various stages of a product life cycle and standardize design practices across the organization
Partner with product managers, product owners and developers on devising better, simpler, smarter interactions. Bring your unique strength to help everyone grow and improve
Conduct User Acceptance Testing to ensure finished products meet requirements
Maintain overall UI quality and design systems for consistency and ongoing improvement across all digital experiences
Participate in regular meetings to give and receive status reports on projects that require cross-functional support
Be an advocate for the user and take a user-centric approach to design

Requirements

Qualified candidates must have 5+ years’ of applicable digital design experience producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment and work samples to prove it
Experience in designing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for localized/internationalized user experiences
A portfolio that demonstrates the expertise of design principles for web (and mobile) platforms
Strong knowledge of best practices for web design, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design, and American Disabilities Act (ADA) best practices
Experience in design systems, responsive strategies, and components
Full interaction design skillset: user experience, information architecture, experience flows, wire-framing and prototyping
Self-starter comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
A team player - ability to give and receive constructive feedback
