• Develops interactive wireframes and visualizations to facilitate user experience
• Assures cross-browser and cross-device development across our digital properties
• Assures continuous advancement of design techniques
• Utilizes user experience methods, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design frameworks, concept visualization and problem-solving skills to create solutions for our users and opportunities for our business
• Make interactive suggestions, implement new features and invigorate website customization to enhance user experience across devices
• Create experiences that include animated elements
• Develop site updates against visual mocks.

• Develop and nurture strong cross functional partnerships; driving business results and inspiring a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability among Brand, Marketing Operations, Ecommerce, and outside agencies
• Ability to balance a strong management presence with a high level of approachability, encouraging and eliciting associate feedback and interaction

• Be a self-starter with the ability to create unique, thoughtful designs but also manage time independently and accurately

Skills for Success :

• Highly capable of modifying existing digital assets (brand photog & vid) in such a way as to fit into web templates
• Well-versed in Adobe CS
• Comfortable using CMSs and DAMs, experienced with systems other than Wordpress /Square Space, etc.
• Familiar with optimizing images and videos for web usability and performance
• Comfortable with at least novice video editing
• Highly capable of executing on web experience design principles
• Well-versed goal-based design process
• Well-versed in building single- and multi-webpage layouts
• Well-versed in interpreting feedback from design process stakeholders and incorporating into designs
• Well-versed in design principles like the application of brand style guide(s), building/maintaining a pattern library, iconography, and more
• Highly capable of managing a design process from start to finish, clearly communicating needs to different roles and presenting progress at various stages
• Versed in user interaction with digital experiences
• Familiar with best practices as they pertain to how a user interacts with web-based applications, particularly mobile
• Familiar with best practices as they pertain to how content flows across responsive and adaptive content frameworks
• Familiar with best practices as they pertain to web accessibility standards
• Portfolio (pdf or website) that demonstrates design and development, * 3+ years in web design, preferably in retail e-commerce, * Direct-to-consumer selling/ecommerce experience
• 3+ years of experience in front-end web/UX design/development
• Familiar with web markup
• Comfortable with HTML & CSS
• Comfortable with incorporating pre-built JavaScript functions and libraries
• Comfortable with intermediate JavaScript development
• Familiar with simple form creation and submission
• Familiar with SEO best practices
• Advanced technical expertise in all aspects of production and post-production workflow, including best practices for data management/DAMS, DSLR workflow
