Component Engineer, DVT Release Support

• Participate in DVT readiness and design reviews to identify component risks, manufacturability concerns, tolerance issues, and documentation gaps.
• Review OTS and custom part releases, drawings, GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and DFM/DFA risks, then recommend alternates or mitigation strategies.
• Serve as a bridge between Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve build issues, long-lead risks, component data, sourcing, traceability, and audit readiness.

• Standard Monday-Friday daytime schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

Do you have experience in Product lifecycle management?, * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, with 5+ years of component engineering, hardware engineering, or related experience.

• Experience supporting product development through DVT and design release phases in a regulated environment, with medical device experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical components, including lifecycle status, supply risk, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturability constraints.
• Familiarity with PLM/ERP systems such as Propel and NetSuite, plus design transfer, production ramp, and regulated documentation expectations such as ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820.
