Job description

  • Serve as the organization’s primary Atlassian Solutions Engineer across the entire Atlassian stack, providing support on everything from sales demos to architecture governance.
  • Design end-to-end solutions that integrate Atlassian tools with enterprise systems and produce solution blueprints and integration diagrams that communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Engage stakeholders to elicit and document requirements by mapping current state processes, identifying gaps and automation opportunities as well as translating findings into user stories and functional specifications.
  • Keep up to date on Atlassian’s roadmap and ecosystem trends and translate emerging capabilities into strategic recommendations for leadership.
  • Maintain a practical awareness of how AI tools, including Rovo and the Teamwork Graph, are reshaping team workflows within Jira and Confluence.
  • Build internal procedures, playbooks, and training to drive technical standards across the organization.
  • Consume and configure Atlassian REST APIs, webhooks, and Forge frameworks to extend functionality.
  • Read and write scripts in Python, TypeScript, Node.js or React to support integration and automation needs.

Requirements

  • This role sits at the intersection of Atlassian platform mastery, enterprise architecture, and stakeholder engagement.
  • The ideal candidate can move fluidly between evaluating new Atlassian capabilities, engaging with customers on a sales call, designing scalable solutions, and translating complex business needs into practical platform outcomes.
  • API and programming skills are highly valued, and a working awareness of AI and security is expected., * 5+ years of Atlassian administration and solution design experience in enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect solutions that bridge business processes and Atlassian platform capabilities.
  • Strong business analysis skills including requirements gathering and process mapping Familiarity with AI tools and how to use them effectively and responsibly.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • You know which corners can be cut and which absolutely cannot. You can read an underdocumented API, figure out what it actually does, and build something reliable on top of it.
  • You mentor others through formal sessions and through the quality of your code and clarity of your thinking. You’re as comfortable in a technical design conversation as you are talking to customers.
  • Preferred Background Experience at an Atlassian Solution Partner firm building solutions for a variety of customers and industries.
  • Atlassian accreditations and/or certifications.
  • Comfortable working with REST APIs and scripting or automation tasks Experience with Atlassian Forge and Rovo features Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
