Job description
Our client is seeking an experienced JD Edwards Applications Manager to lead and support their JD Edwards ERP environment within a manufacturing and warehouse operation. This individual will oversee the daily performance of the ERP system, manage application support activities, and partner with operations teams to improve processes, system functionality, and overall business efficiency.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining ERP leadership, manufacturing operations support, and continuous process improvement in a hands-on environment., * Lead and support the JD Edwards applications team.
- Manage the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of the JD Edwards ERP system.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate timely resolution of application-related problems.
- Oversee system upgrades, patches, testing, and implementation of new functionality.
- Work closely with manufacturing and warehouse teams to improve operational processes and system utilization.
- Support Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionality, including inventory management, receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment processes.
- Ensure accurate integration and data flow between JD Edwards and other business systems.
- Coordinate application changes, testing, and deployments while minimizing impact on business operations.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and support materials.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and increased system reliability.
- Collaborate with IT teams, business leaders, vendors, and third-party consultants on projects and enhancements.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Warehouse management system?, * Strong experience supporting and managing JD Edwards ERP systems.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and warehouse operations.
- Understanding of inventory control, receiving, shipping, fulfillment, and production processes.
- Experience managing application support, system enhancements, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Leadership experience, including managing priorities, projects, or support teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business users, and vendors.
- Experience with change management, release management, and application support best practices is preferred.
