Sr. Mobile Application Developer

This role will be focused on development of our member portal app for web, iOS, and Android. The app will be developed in Flutter. The candidate will work with a team of analysts and testers that are responsible for the app. There are also two UX engineers and team of designers that the candidate will work closely with, as well as other teams outside of our area. In particular, we work closely with the API and FHIR API teams. Although the candidate will be primarily focused on development for the member portal, he or she may sometimes be asked to assist in web development related to other public facing sites.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. In lieu of degree, five (5) years’ experience in a related field

required. Master’s degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum five (5) years experience in mobile app development.

Minimum two (2) years hands-on experience with Flutter framework.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES

Proficient in Dart programming languages.

Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns.

Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and integration.

Knowledge of state management solutions in Flutter (Provider, Bloc, Redux, etc.).

Experience with version control systems (Git, etc.).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of mobile app store submission process and guidelines
