Job description

A well-established and growing organization in the energy sector is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Support Specialist to join its technology team. This individual will serve as a key technical resource, providing hands-on support, troubleshooting complex issues, and helping drive technology initiatives across the organization., * Provide Tier II and Tier III technical support for end users across multiple locations.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Windows environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and related technologies.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
  • Support server infrastructure, user access management, security protocols, and system updates.
  • Assist with network troubleshooting including switches, wireless connectivity, VPNs, and internet connectivity.
  • Document procedures, solutions, and technical processes.
  • Participate in technology projects, upgrades, implementations, and system rollouts.
  • Work closely with leadership to identify and implement technology improvements.
  • Maintain a strong customer-service mindset while supporting employees at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * 5+ years of progressive IT support or systems administration experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint management.
  • Experience supporting networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and wireless networks.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or similar are a plus.
