Job description

Participates in the development (design, build, test) and support of Children’s applications systems. Implements cost effective solutions. Facilitates the development of a proposed solution to business- sponsored initiatives. License/Certification/Registration

  • Must have orders and order transmittal Epic certification.-REQUIRED Relevant certification must be maintained ongoing.

Requirements

Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a related area may substitute for degree

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience in hospital/clinic healthcare setting with experience supporting an EHR, related applications, and integrated workflows. This same experience with an EHR vendor is also acceptable.
  • Experience with software application tools used for application build and data manipulation.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare and/or financial software applications
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses and various other hospital staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing with all levels of associates and management.
  • Knowledge of analytical processes and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to evaluate business user needs against current system capabilities.
  • Ability to accurately and effectively translate business requirements to high-level system specifications.
  • Familiarity in the use of Microsoft Window products (Word, Excel, Access and Project) or equivalent.
  • Aptitude for learning new software tools and products.
  • Familiarity with the software development cycle.

Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
