Sr. Relay Settings Engineer

• Experience producing relay settings for variety of line relay setting philosophies: Ground and Phase overcurrent coordination (TCC), step distance, line differential, and pilot schemes (POTT, DCB, etc.)

Do you have experience in Short circuit analysis?, We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Relay Settings Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the design, configuration, and optimization of relay protection systems to ensure the reliable and secure operation of electrical power networks. Your expertise will drive system performance improvements, support project execution from conception through commissioning, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence critical infrastructure and advance your career in electrical engineering and system design., * Direct experience with configuring and providing relay settings for SEL (accelerator) and GE (EnerVista). Experience with other type of relays (Bassler, ABB, Siemens etc.) preferred but not required.

• Short circuit software such as CAPE and/or Aspen: Setup LZOP, CT, PT, Relay and conduct coordination study.
• PRC023, PRC026, PRC-027
• Highly preferred;
• Ability to read, understand, edit and develop variety of custom logic (.rdb).
• Experience with variety of other assets: Bus protection, Transformer protection, Cap bank, reactor protection etc.
• Ability to develop protection and control drawings such as one lines, relay and control schematics
• PRC/ NERC / FERC compliance

Additional experience that would be a plus but not required as follows:

• SCADA Programming, HMI, Automation, RTAC, Orion LX /Novatech, DNP and other protocols
• Network Switch
• 61850 Goose messaging

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
