Application Engineer

Provide Technical Expertise:

• Size, select, and run calculations to identify the best-fit hydraulic equipment for customers’ applications.
• Continuously expand your knowledge of our products, the elevator industry, markets, and competitors.

Drive Sales and Manage Proposals:

• Create and process proposals and sales orders following company best practices.
• Build and strengthen customer relationships through proactive communication and service.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage opportunities and grow our customer database.

Support Customers and Resolve Issues:

• Collaborate with the Field Sales and Warranty teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
• Provide timely, professional assistance to ensure customer satisfaction.

Collaborate Across Teams:

• Work closely with Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure on-time delivery and seamless project execution.
• Participate in internal meetings and contribute insights for process improvements.

Handle Reporting and Administrative Tasks:

• Generate summaries, reports, and data lists as requested by management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities and technical information.

High school diploma required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

• 3 or more years of experience in configured industrial product sales preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic systems, CAD, ERP systems, or Salesforce a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Comfortable using Windows OS, web browsers, and search engines.
• Experience with Tableau or other analytics tools preferred.
