Job description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician who plays a key role in ensuring that all products meet the required specifications, quality expectations, and applicable standards. The QA Technician will also help identify nonconformances through inspection, improving processes, strengthening product consistency, and supporting continuous improvement., * Establish and maintain quality standards for manufactured products, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in strengthening and maintaining our Quality Management System to continue our ISO 9001:2015 certification.
- Inspect all required incoming goods to verify that materials meet specifications and quality requirements.
- Utilize measurement tools such as tape measures and calipers to perform accurate inspections.
- Identify, document, and segregate any products and materials that do not meet standards.
- Work with other departments to address quality concerns and ensure effective resolutions.
- Work closely with suppliers to strengthen product quality and ensure consistent conformity to requirements.
- Ability to effectively communicate quality issues, document findings, and work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely resolution
- High attention to details with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they impact production.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Manufacturing company experience?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Must have 1 year of experience in a quality role with a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with quality functions such as root cause analysis, corrective actions, non-conformance management, and inspections.
- Preferred experience with ISO 9001 or other ISO standards.
- Possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
- Understand how to read prints, specifications, and work instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision.
- Solid understanding of basic measuring tools such as tape measure and calipers.
- Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Preferred ability to collect, analyze, and report quality data using Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas)
- Experience tracking and reporting quality metrics (defect rates, supplier quality, etc.)
