Job description

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Manager - IT Audit to lead complex SOC 2 assurance engagements, mentor team members, and help shape the future of our assurance practice. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced audit professional who enjoys working directly with clients, leading engagement teams, and delivering exceptional results. What You’ll Do Lead Client Engagements

  • Own SOC 2 and assurance engagements from planning through report issuance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the engagement lifecycle
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on controls, risk management, and compliance requirements
  • Ensure engagements are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards

Manage and Develop Teams

  • Lead, coach, and mentor audit professionals
  • Review workpapers, testing results, and engagement deliverables
  • Establish expectations and support team development
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Identify opportunities to improve assurance methodologies and delivery processes
  • Support the growth and scalability of the assurance practice
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams on client engagements
  • Assist with adjacent frameworks such as HITRUST and HIPAA as client needs evolve

Requirements

Do you have experience in Team development?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Active CPA license is required. Please only apply if you have a valid US CPA license.

  • Strong, hands-on SOC 2 experience, ideally developed within a public accounting environment.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple client engagements
  • Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing team members
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
  • Deep understanding of the Trust Services Criteria and how to apply them in real-world client environments., * Experience with HITRUST, HIPAA, or healthcare compliance environments
  • Familiarity with GRC platforms, audit management tools, and modern assurance workflows
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity, compliance, or risk advisory engagements
  • Background working in fast-paced consulting or professional services environments, * Bachelor’s (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Active CPA license (Required)
