Computer Technician - Network Video Recorders

The Production Technician will operate within our Atlanta Distribution Centre located in Kennesaw, GA. Acting in accordance with Company policies and procedures, the Production Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and quality assuring i3 products while ensuring all work orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and to the quality standards established by the Company.

In addition to production responsibilities, this position plays an active role in inventory management, cycle counting, quality control of hardware and components, shipping and receiving operations, and general warehouse support. The Production Technician is expected to assist with order fulfillment, inventory accuracy initiatives, and shipping activities during periods of increased customer demand, peak sales activity, staff absences, or vacation coverage. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform both production and warehouse-related duties as business needs require.

The Production Technician will conduct themselves in a professional manner when interacting with customers, vendors, visitors, and fellow employees., * Assemble, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and configure Network Video Management Systems (NVMS), Hybrid Video Recorders, Digital Video Recorders, embedded video systems, network switches, and other i3 branded products in accordance with Company specifications and quality standards.

• Ensure all systems are built, tested, documented, and packaged consistently and efficiently.
• Complete all production tags, testing documentation, and quality assurance records as required by Company policies and procedures.
• Communicate proactively with the Production Supervisor regarding material shortages, equipment issues, quality concerns, or potential production delays.
• Complete assigned production units within established timelines while maintaining quality standards.
• Work diligently to reduce production defects, warranty returns, Phase B call-backs, QA inspection failures, and back-ordered units.
• Organize production materials, parts, and components in a safe, efficient, and accessible manner.
• Represent the Company professionally during customer visits, facility tours, and audits.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production and warehouse environment.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, packaging, and warehouse operations as required.
• Provide warehouse coverage during periods of increased workload, sales demand, employee absences, vacations, or other operational requirements.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and inventory verification activities to ensure inventory accuracy and maintain inventory integrity.
• Assist in investigating inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions when variances are identified.
• Conduct quality control inspections of incoming hardware, parts, accessories, and finished goods to ensure compliance with Company standards.
• Report defective, damaged, missing, or non-conforming materials to management and assist in resolving quality issues.
• Receive, inspect, label, organize, and stock incoming inventory and materials.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders, transfers, and shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records within Company systems and documentation processes.
• Support warehouse organization, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Operate warehouse equipment and tools safely and in accordance with Company procedures and training.
• Assist other areas of Production, Operations, and related departments when business requirements dictate.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support both production and warehouse functions as operational priorities change.

Do you have experience in Hardware support?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * This position is a hybrid Production and Warehouse role. While production assembly and testing are primary responsibilities, employees are expected to regularly support inventory management, shipping and receiving, cycle counting, order fulfillment, quality control inspections, and warehouse operations. These duties are considered essential functions of the position and may represent a significant portion of the employee’s workload based on operational needs.

• Education: High School Diploma plus some extra college or certification (college is preferred)
• Experience: Prefer experience with inventory/warehouse/computers
• Familiar with serialization
• A+ certification is preferred
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Job may require extended hours
• Warehouse lift machines: e.g. Forklift, Skyjack, Pallet, * Computer hardware: 3 years (Required)
