Job description

Under the direction of the Muskingum County Auditor, seeking a qualified GIS Coordinator to lead our geographic information systems (GIS) initiatives. In this vital role, you will manage spatial data, develop mapping solutions, support project teams with advanced geospatial analysis and support County’s Reappraisal and Triennial Update processes. Your expertise will drive data-driven decision-making, enhance project planning, and improve operational efficiency across various departments., · Manage all aspects of Muskingum County’s GIS Department

· Manage Muskingum County’s ArcGIS Online organization

· Maintain and enhance the Auditor’s Office public facing parcel viewing website

· Maintain multiple SDE databases

· Build web-based applications and field data collection applications

· Edit and maintain numerous GIS layers utilized in the County Auditor’s Office

· Provide technical assistance to GIS users throughout Muskingum County

· Perform queries, analysis and reporting on County Auditor’s Office data

· Coordinate alongside leadership to manage the County’s Reappraisal and Triennial Update

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Productivity software?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, · High School Diploma required

· Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, computer science, or related field preferred

· GIS experience with the ESRI Software Suite

· Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and/or ArcGIS Online

· Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite

· Experience with SQL Server preferred

· Strong understanding of the Reappraisal and Triennial Update processes

· Ohio Driver’s License

Pay: From $30.23 per hour
