Job description
The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for troubleshooting problems and help restore the customer’s computer to working condition. Responsible for a range of tasks including configuring, testing, and troubleshooting network and wireless issues, setting up user accounts, and formatting and setting up desktop and laptop computers., New hire set up, including establishing emails, activating access badges, setting up work stations, etc.Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software Train and guide staff hardware and software usage. Set up new computer systems, perform routine maintenance, and assist in application installs.Identify and resolve hardware and software problems. Assist in technical upgrading and maintaining of entire desktop systems. Endorse and apply upgrades to systems to ensure durability.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required0-3 years of related database administration experienceKnowledge and experience of the following computer applications: Solomon, VMware, NetApp, ERP System, CRM, SQL, visual basic, .net programming, and vb.netMicrosoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other applications are plus
