Job description

As a senior IT quality assurance analyst on the Billing Policy Lifecycle team, you’ll join a talented group of developers and analysts who are responsible for the core transactions that keep our policy lifecycle working smoothly. You’ll partner with peers to ensure clarity is brought to complex requirements, system quality is upheld and processes are LEAN. You’ll also execute testing which includes mainframe, functional, and batch testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Business or Information Technology discipline or other related field of study and a minimum of four years of work experience analyzing, testing and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing.
  • In lieu of the above, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of 4 years of related work experience analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing.
  • In lieu of the above, a minimum of 6 years of related work experience analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing.

Preferred skills

  • Experience in mainframe testing, batch testing and distributed system functionality testing
  • Extensive knowledge and application of software QA industry practices, techniques and tools (e.g. manual testing, risk-based testing, fushion testing, querying SQL databases, gap analysis, API testing approaches, Azure DevOps, DB2)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to investigate, assess, and recommend solutions to moderately complex situations for the policy lifecycle including analyzing requirements and bringing clarity to requirements.
  • Experience with large enterprise programs
  • Strong technical and analytical aptitude, attention to detail and effective multitasking., Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without the need or potential need, of current or future sponsorship for employment.
