Job description

  • Provide Software Test and Evaluation Capability - plan, prepare, and perform testing, evaluation, verification, and validation of software to evaluate results against specifications, requirements, and operational need.
  • Team lead role, responsible for providing guidance and leadership to test team members. (Not a people manager)
  • Lead QA efforts for BMC Helix, ensuring automated ticketing, anomaly detection, and incident lifecycle management function properly.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure that software meets specifications, requirements, and operational needs
  • Conducting unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing to identify and report defects and discrepancies
  • Prepare and deliver reports and advance analysis related to past performance and future efforts
  • Verifying that software meets functional and non-functional requirements, including security, usability, and accessibility
  • Validating that software meets operational needs and user expectations, including conducting user acceptance testing and feedback sessions
  • Identifying and reporting defects and discrepancies, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues and implement fixes
  • Developing and maintaining test environments, including test data, test scripts, and test tools. Ensuring methodology and procedures meet company and industry standards
  • Conducting testing and evaluation of software in various environments, including development, staging, and production
  • Conducting testing and evaluation of capabilities against various hardware, operating systems, software versions, and environments
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and refine testing and evaluation strategies, including identifying and prioritizing testing objectives and scope
  • Providing testing and evaluation results and recommendations to stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and operational users

Requirements

Do you have experience in Validation design?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Bring your test engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. Our Test Engineer must have:

  • Clearance Requirement: Active Secret clearance required.
  • Experience: 8+ years of Test Engineering experience
  • Validation of workflows within BMC Helix or closely related enterprise service management platforms.
  • Establishing QA frameworks to consistently evaluate unstructured, dynamic AI outputs for accuracy and safety.
  • Design and execution of test plans for Agentic AI, focusing on multi-orchestration, intent recognition, and decision trees.
  • Testing automation frameworks capable of evaluating APIs, microservices and web interfaces.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline.
  • Work Location: Remote
  • US Citizenship Required, Years of Experience 8 + years of related experience
