Azure Data Engineer || Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and collaborate with a team of Azure Databricks and Actimize specialists while partnering with external vendors to deliver enterprise compliance and surveillance solutions. This role is critical in supporting and enhancing the bank s fraud detection and prevention platform, ensuring adherence to risk management, legal, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in data engineering, Azure Databricks development, and data pipeline optimization to build scalable solutions in a highly transactional banking environment. This position involves customization of the Databricks platform, workflow implementation, troubleshooting, production support, and close collaboration with business and technical teams., * Design and develop code, configurations, and solutions for Azure Databricks and Actimize applications based on business and technical requirements.

• Build and optimize data integration pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake.
• Analyze requirements, incidents, and process flows while creating clear technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and data issues across environments, including root cause analysis.
• Provide timely, high-quality production support to maintain compliance and system reliability.
• Communicate effectively with business users, vendors, stakeholders, and support teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop and execute unit testing and integration testing for system enhancements and releases.
• Coordinate and support system upgrades with end users and technical teams.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex production issues to minimize business disruption.
• Participate in implementations, go-lives, and occasional evening/weekend deployment support.

• 5+ years of experience implementing enterprise technologies or vendor platforms.
