Job description

Innovar Group is seeking a Sr. SAP FICO Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting enterprise-wide SAP financial systems. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and Solution Architects to evaluate business needs, recommend SAP-supported solutions, configure the system, and support enhancements across SAP S/4 Finance-related modules., * Partner with business stakeholders, Solution Architects, and technical teams to understand business requirements and recommend SAP-based solutions.

  • Analyze and design business processes within SAP S/4 Finance, Controlling, Project Systems, and related financial modules.
  • Configure SAP to support business processes, transaction flows, reporting, and enterprise-wide financial operations.
  • Support SAP Finance areas including AP, AR, GL, Asset Management, Billing, Revenue Recognition, Project Systems actuals, settlement, master data, Treasury, and Banking.
  • Gather and document business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, and end-user documentation.
  • Evaluate customization requests and provide guidance on when to configure, customize, improve process, or push back.
  • Support reporting needs across the organization and help identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Provide training and support to end users as needed.
  • Promote best practices, standards, tools, and enterprise-wide process improvements.
  • Work across multiple priorities while remaining results-oriented and collaborative.

Requirements

The right person will be comfortable working across business requests, customizations, process improvements, support needs, and system enhancements. Strong communication skills are critical, including the ability to push back appropriately, ask the right questions, and translate business needs into practical SAP solutions.

The ideal candidate will have deep SAP FICO experience with strong exposure to Treasury, Banking, Project Systems, GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Billing, Revenue Recognition, and regulated environments., * 5+ years of SAP applications experience.

  • Strong SAP FICO process and configuration experience.
  • Experience with Treasury and Banking is highly preferred and considered a key focus area.
  • Experience with SAP Project Systems, including master data, actuals, and settlement.
  • Knowledge of AP, AR, Billing, Revenue Recognition, Asset Management, GL, and timekeeping-related processes.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to work closely with Solution Architects, business users, and technical teams.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand business processes and how IT systems support them.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience working across multiple SAP functional areas rather than being specialized in only one module.
  • Related degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Concur, VIM, and Vertex.
  • Working knowledge of Revenue Accounting and Reporting, also known as RAR.
  • Understanding of SAP Security.
  • Experience working in Agile environments., You’ll join an ERP team of approximately 15 people and support a collaborative environment where communication, ownership, and business partnership are highly valued. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, communicate clearly with all levels of the organization, and help drive practical SAP solutions across finance and enterprise operations.
