Job description

Compensation: $50+ per instructional hour, flexible based on assignment and instructor experience Teach engaging enrichment classes that help students explore new interests and build real skills. Concorde Education partners with schools to provide high-quality after-school programs led by passionate instructors. In this role, you will lead structured, hands-on sessions that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and curiosity through coding and technology. Lead fun, interactive coding activities for students in a flexible, part-time role. Classes typically meet once per week for about one hour, though some instructors choose to teach multiple programs per week depending on their availability. Concorde Education is hiring engaging instructors to lead enrichment classes that help students build foundational programming skills and confidence with technology. Instructors lead structured enrichment lessons using weekly plans while adapting activities to the needs and interests of the students. Possible Class Topics

Assignments vary by school and may include:

  • Introduction to Python programming
  • Writing simple Python scripts and programs
  • Coding logic and problem-solving using Python
  • Introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Creating and designing basic web pages
  • Interactive web elements and simple coding projects
  • Introductory computer science concepts
  • Collaborative coding and project-based learning

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging after-school coding sessions for students
  • Facilitate hands-on programming activities and projects
  • Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment
  • Coordinate with school staff and Concorde program contacts

Requirements

Do you have experience in Working with youth?, * Minimum 60 college credits completed

  • Experience with Python programming and/or web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience working with youth (teaching, tutoring, camps, or after-school programs)
  • Strong communication and group facilitation skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional, * Current or former teachers and educators
  • College or graduate students studying computer science, technology, or education
  • Software developers, engineers, or tech professionals who enjoy teaching
  • Python programmers or coding hobbyists who enjoy mentoring students
  • Tutors, camp counselors, and youth program leaders

Benefits & conditions

$65 - $100 an hour - Contract
