Job description

Looking for College students or High School seniors to join us for an exciting opportunity to teach K-9 students fundamentals of computer science and programming. The instructor is responsible for delivering iCode curriculum while creating a fun learning experience for the students. This is a great job opportunity for a college student to gain experience and develop soft skills and leadership skills. Classroom management and curriculum training will be provided. Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and educate students according to curriculum and guidelines provided by iCode.
  • Knowledge of Scratch, Python, Java , HTML, Javascript, CSS would be great.
  • Manage a fun and orderly classroom at all times.
  • Provide feedback about class material and student dynamics in weekly status reports.
  • Provide weekly communication and updates to parents.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Working with students?, * Have a positive attitude, outgoing personality and possess excellent people skills.

  • Demonstrate hobbies such as robotics, gaming, coding, or digital arts
  • Ability to work with students ranging from K-9
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Experience in computing languages such as Scratch, HTML or Python
  • Experience in tutoring, working with students in a camp setting a plus
