Job description

  • Engineer, implement, integrate, and sustain Delinea Tools Suite in a Linux environment.
  • Manage secure credential management, privileged access controls, secrets management, and automation.
  • Requires Linux, Bash, Python, Java, Linux administration, Delinea products, directory services, identity and access management, privileged access management, certificate-based authentication, security best practices, troubleshooting distributed systems, RESTful services, continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines, Infrastructure as Code with Ansible and SaltStack, Docker, and Linux cluster sustainment.
  • Desired skills include Jira, Confluence, and cybersecurity software engineering., * Engineer, implement, integrate, and sustain Delinea Tools Suite in a Linux environment.
  • Ensure secure credential management, privileged access controls, secrets management, and automation capabilities.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Delinea technologies running on Linux systems.
  • Collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
  • Utilize the Linux CLI and develop scripts using Bash/Python.
  • Perform recent software development using Python and Java.
  • Apply a strong background in Linux administration such as RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu.
  • Implement or support at least one Delinea product (e.g., Secret Server, Privilege Manager, DevOps Secrets Vault).
  • Integrate Delinea with directory services (LDAP, Active Directory, FreeIPA).
  • Apply understanding of identity and access management (IAM), privileged access management (PAM), certificate-based authentication, and security best practices.
  • Troubleshoot system-level issues in distributed environments, including logs, services, networking, and authentication.
  • Work with API-based integrations, RESTful services, and secrets automation in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation tools such as Ansible and SaltStack.
  • Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and associated secret-handling patterns.
  • Sustain and support large Linux clusters including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution.
  • Desired: Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Desired: Experience supporting enterprise security tools or working in a cybersecurity-focused software engineering role.
