Job description

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, managing GitLab Runners and advancing automation practices.
  • Improve software delivery speed, quality, and reliability through automation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Git, GitLab, and core DevOps principles and concepts.
  • Utilize Linux CLI and develop Bash scripts for process automation.
  • Apply recent software development experience using Python.
  • Administer and troubleshoot GitLab Runners, creating reusable CI/CD templates and automation patterns.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes for multiple software development teams.
  • Work with containerization technologies like Docker and integrate container registries into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into automated workflows.
  • Apply strong understanding of DevOps practices, including environment promotion, artifact management, and securing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks, including Ansible.
  • Manage Git source control, branching strategies, merge request workflows, and repository management.
  • Desired: Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Desired: Knowledge of configuration management, secrets management, and secure credential handling.
  • Desired: Familiarity with Agile development practices and supporting SAFe Agile teams.

Requirements

  • Requires proficiency with Git, GitLab, DevOps, Linux, Bash, and Python.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Infrastructure as Code tools including Ansible is needed.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence) and Agile development practices is desired.
