- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for complex database applications
- Create, prioritize, and implement test scenarios with detailed execution plans
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases; prepare and maintain test environments
- Conduct functional, performance, and regression testing on various database systems
- Identify, document, and report defects or issues; work with development and DBA teams to resolve them
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all tested systems
- Monitor and analyze database performance; recommend optimizations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture testing requirements and objectives
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation for automated processes and testing activities
Requirements
8+ years of experience designing automated database tests and scripting
- Proven track record in prioritizing test scenarios and implementing execution plans
- Expert in creating test plans, test cases, and managing test environments
- Extensive hands-on experience with functional, application, and regression testing
- Deep understanding of the software development life cycle and methodologies
- Proficiency in analyzing requirements and updating test documentation
- Strong analytical, teamwork, and communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams
- Skilled in managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

- Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and documentation standards
- Familiarity with information architecture and information management methodologies
- Knowledge of software architecture and infrastructure components at various organizational levels
