Informatica MDM Solutions Architect

The Enterprise Architect 3 - Master Data Architect leads the design and implementation of enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions within a large-scale healthcare environment. This role focuses on developing data architecture, governance frameworks, and integration solutions to enable high-quality, trusted, and accessible enterprise data. The position works closely with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to support data-driven decision-making and large-scale modernization initiatives. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design

• Translate business requirements into enterprise data architecture and system solutions
• Design large-scale MDM and data integration solutions aligned with enterprise standards
• Develop solution architectures including process, technology, and staffing components
• Create scope documents, risk assessments, and financial models for complex initiatives

Master Data Management (MDM) Architecture

• Design and implement enterprise MDM solutions using Informatica and IDMC platforms
• Support identity resolution, data mastering, attribution, and reference data governance
• Develop and maintain master data models for healthcare provider and member domains
• Ensure data is accessible, governed, and trusted across enterprise systems

Data Engineering & ETL Development

• Develop ETL processes supporting data movement and transformation into MDM systems
• Utilize tools such as Informatica, Oracle, and Snowflake for large-scale data integration
• Maintain and optimize data pipelines and metadata loads
• Support enhancements and upgrades to MDM application layers

Data Governance & Quality

• Define and enforce enterprise data governance, quality, and compliance standards
• Ensure adherence to security, regulatory, and organizational policies
• Support data lineage, metadata management, and audit readiness
• Improve consistency and quality of master data across systems

AI & Data Analytics Enablement

• Develop AI prompt strategies for querying and synthesizing complex master data
• Create reusable query templates and standardized reporting prompts
• Validate AI-generated outputs and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Promote data-driven culture and adoption of analytics tools

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work with business stakeholders, data architects, and IT teams to deliver data solutions
• Translate technical concepts into clear, non-technical insights for leadership
• Support multiple concurrent data and analytics initiatives
• Provide expert guidance on data trends, insights, and system capabilities

Project Delivery & Agile Execution

• Support planning, monitoring, and execution of MDM initiatives using agile methodologies
• Ensure high-quality build and deployment of data solutions
• Coordinate across teams to deliver scalable and reliable enterprise systems
• Maintain documentation and support knowledge transfer initiatives

Do you have experience in Technical writing within technology?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 8 or more years of experience designing and implementing Master Data Management solutions

• 8 or more years of experience with Informatica and ETL development
• 8 or more years of experience with Enterprise Information Management frameworks
• 8 or more years of experience designing custom solutions using Informatica PowerCenter
• Experience working with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ERStudio, or equivalent
• Strong experience with large-scale data integration using Oracle, Snowflake, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven experience working with both technical and non-technical teams
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience architecting enterprise MDM solutions
• Experience as an Oracle DBA
• Experience installing and configuring Informatica Metadata Manager
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
