Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Job Title: GIS Administrator. Location: Woodbridge VA. Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced GIS Administrator to support and maintain enterprise GIS platforms for a municipal / utility environment.
  • The role will be responsible for administering ESRI GIS solutions with Cityworks as the primary asset and work management backend, ensuring seamless integration with SQL Server databases, enterprise systems, and operational workflows.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in ESRI ArcGIS, Cityworks AMS/PLL, and SQL, along with experience supporting utility asset data, workflows, and reporting., * Administer Cityworks AMS and/or PLL as the enterprise asset and work management system.
  • Configure Cityworks workflows, inspections, work orders, and asset hierarchies.
  • Manage integrations between Cityworks and ESRI GIS, ensuring spatial accuracy and data synchronization.
  • Support Cityworks upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.

Deliverables:

  • Stable and optimized GIS and Cityworks environments.
  • Accurate and reliable asset and work management data.
  • Documented system configurations and workflows.
  • User training materials and knowledge transfer documentation.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience as a GIS Administrator or GIS Analyst in an enterprise environment.

Strong hands-on experience with:

  • ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Cityworks AMS and/or PLL.
  • SQL Server.
  • Experience supporting municipal, water, wastewater, or public works environments.
  • Proficiency in spatial data management and enterprise geodatabases.
  • Strong troubleshooting and system administration skills.
