Cloud Platform System Database Performance Information Technology Tools for Reporting

Job description

Learn the MS SQL Database platform and .NET and MVC languages
Work with senior members of the database development team to develop solutions that meet business goals
Function as a Database Administrator
Develop stored procedures, functions, and other user-defined objects
Optimize SQL queries
Escalated support of production environment including shared after-hours rotation
Participate in design and code reviews of solutions
Develop web applications using MVC and .NET
Assist with troubleshooting database performance problem
Create and modify reports using MS SQL Reporting Services

Requirements

An undergraduate degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
Ability to interact with and learn techniques and technology from senior team members
Must be a motivated self-starter who can work independently and seeks out opportunities to work collaboratively with others
Completed coursework in the Microsoft technology stack
Basic understanding of the T/SQL language
Must have the ability to manage concurrent projects at different stages of completion
