Requirements

They should be comfortable using PowerShell with Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange servers and be able to discuss specific commands they have used for day to day mailbox administration. The candidate should be able to provide concrete examples of complex issues they have owned end to end, explain how they diagnosed root cause, and describe how they minimized disruption while delivering results.

The candidate should understand how to monitor, troubleshoot, and restore service in an Exchange environment, particularly during mail flow issues or client access problems, and be able to articulate a clear and structured incident response approach.

Finally, we want someone who can adapt and learn quickly. When asked to implement a native Office 365 feature they have not worked with before, the candidate should be able to explain how they research, validate, and safely implement new solutions using Microsoft documentation, testing, and collaboration with peers., Strong, hands-on Office 365 administration experience with real operational ownership.

  • 2-3+ years of experience with Microsoft Exchange (Must be recent)

  • Ability to manage, design, upgrade, and maintain hybrid Exchange environments in multi domain setups with minimal downtime.

  • Skilled in managing mail transport rules, Entra ID integrations, and improving spam/phish security in partnership with IT Security or independently.

  • Proficient with PowerShell for Exchange Online and hybrid servers, including specific mailbox administration cmdlets.

  • Able to provide examples of complex issues owned end to end, including root-cause analysis and impact minimization.

  • Capable of monitoring, troubleshooting, and restoring service during mail flow or client access issues with a structured incident response approach.

  • Adaptable and fast learning, able to research, validate, test, and safely implement new native O365 features using Microsoft documentation and peer collaboration. Compensation

Benefits & conditions

$40/hr to $45/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
