Remote - Lead Engineer

Senior Software Engineer with experience in Node JS, React JS and Firebase to join our team as we rapidly scale through experimentation and constant iteration through feedback.

You will be a key contributor accelerating our serverless development in Node JS using Firebase Functions in Google Cloud and our web app in React JS with Firebase Realtime Database.

Must Have Lead Experience

Needs to be extremely comfortable in agentic coding

Needs to have some exposure to Firebase Realtime Database

10+ years (preferred) experience in software development with JavaScript and in a Senior Contributor role in a fast-paced startup environment.

8+ years of experience in NodeJS and ReactJS, particularly with serverless environments like Cloud Functions or AWS Lambdas.

5+ years of experience working with data architecture and design, particularly in NoSQL environments like Firebase Realtime Database.

Demonstrated ability in delivering with quality and speed while developing features and resolving bugs.

Bonus points for knowledge of Firebase, particularly Cloud Functions and Realtime Database.

5+ years experience writing clean code and providing instructional comments, providing code reviews to minimize bugs and reduce rework.

Ability to make updates to a large codebase with minimal review without introducing additional bugs.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Comfortably collaborate with other disciplines and departments.

Experience in PropTech, FinTech and/or payment processing.
