Job description

The IT Specialist will be responsible for providing daily support on IT-related issues and requests, managing the IT Helpdesk, troubleshooting and maintenance of POS systems in stores, managing IT-related assets, and working closely with HR to provide IT support for onboarding and terminations., IT HelpDesk Provide IT support to APUS Employees Respond to IT requests and inquiries in a timely manner Monitor and ensure proper functioning of IT systems/applications POS and Asset Management

Provide support for POS systems Prepare IT equipment for new store openings Responsible for logging all new and existing IT assets into master asset list Log all assets as accurate and up-to-date as possible so data can be provided to HQ when requested Other Activities

Support IT Manager with requests and activities Report and assist on complex planning and implementation of systems that are carried out by the IT Team Liaise with HQ offices for major projects and develop reports requested by Headquarter offices Train New Hires on how to use internal company systems Report on a daily and weekly basis the IT activities, updates and projects Responsible for providing IT equipment and access for new hires Responsible for retrieving company assets from terminated employees

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering, Business Management or any relevant technology fields At least 2 years of experience in an IT role Bilingual (Korean-English) is required Strong IT operational background Experience working with multiple stakeholders Experience working with Hardware, Software and Network Analytical and problem solving skills Strong communication skills Meticulous, analytical and independent Possess a strong sense of urgency, able to prioritize and meet deadlines A confident self-starter with a high level of drive, commitment, and trust Results oriented, resourceful, and willing to be “hands-on” when required Willing to work beyond contractual work hours when required Good listener and be a dedicated team player
