Job description
· Stage equipment prior to cutover
· Install 2 x Cisco 9800 WLCs per site
· Perform power and network cross-connections, including switchport verification
· Install and connect SFP modules, fiber patch cords, and Ethernet patch cords as required
· Support cutover and validate installation with remote teams
Legacy Equipment Handling (40-50% of sites):
· Decommission old WLCs
· Label, pack, and prepare equipment for return shipment
Deployment Pace:
· Small/medium sites: 1 site per day
· Large sites: Weekend scheduling
· Mandatory Tools (Engineer Must Have):
· Laptop
· Console cable
· Hotspot
· Label maker
· Rack screws
Note: SFP modules, fiber patch cords, and Ethernet patch cords will be arranged by the engineer (cost reimbursable).
Requirements
Do you have experience in System deployment?, · Hands-on experience with rack & stack, structured cabling, and WLC installations
· Strong understanding of fiber connectivity and patching
· Ability to coordinate with remote support teams during deployment
Benefits & conditions
$25.55 - $30.77 an hour - Temporary, Part-time, Contract
