Job description
As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be the backbone of our cloud infrastructure, responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations. You will design, implement, and maintain highly scalable, secure, and automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC). Your goal is to accelerate software delivery while maintaining 99.9% system reliability and optimizing cloud costs., * Automation & CI/CD: Build and manage robust continuous integration and delivery pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage global-scale cloud resources using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Containerization: Manage containerized environments using Amazon EKS (Kubernetes) or ECS (Fargate), ensuring seamless scaling and orchestration.
- Security (DevSecOps): Integrate security scanning (SAST/DAST) into pipelines and manage IAM roles, VPCs, and encryption using AWS Secrets Manager and KMS.
- Monitoring & Observability: Implement comprehensive logging and alerting using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- FinOps & Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud spend and implement cost-saving measures like Spot Instances, Graviton-based instances, and automated resource cleanup.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Virtual Private Clouds?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * AWS Services: Deep expertise in EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Route 53, VPC, IAM, and API Gateway.
- Scripting/Programming: Proficiency in Python (for Lambda/automation) and Bash. Experience with Go or Node.js is a plus.
- Container Tools: Mastery of Docker and Kubernetes (Helm, Kustomize).
- IaC Tools: Expert-level knowledge of Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation.
- Linux Mastery: Strong experience in Linux systems administration (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux 2023)., * Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 3-5+ years in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
- Preferred Certifications:
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional (Highly Preferred)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Must be able to pass a criminal background check as well as a drug test.
