Job description
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service is seeking applications from individuals for the role of ICT Systems Administratorwithin the ICT Department based at Service Headquarters, Carmarthen.
We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking ICT Systems Administrator to take ownership of the organisation’s core ICT infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable and highly available systems across on-premises, cloud and virtual environments. This role suits a technically strong professional who can lead on system configuration, maintenance, monitoring, security, resilience and future planning, while also contributing to wider departmental objectives, supporting compliance, and working closely with colleagues, stakeholders and external partners. If you excel in managing complex systems, driving best practice and ensuring the smooth operation of critical ICT services, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.
This is a full-time post working 37 hours per week with flexible hours in line with the Service’s flexi-time scheme.
