Job description

  • A willingness to work closely and candidly with team members

Requirements

  • A curiosity to branch outside of your core knowledge comfort zone.
  • 3-5 years of experience with the following:
  • Scientific Python (numpy, scipy, etc.)
  • The AWS ecosystem, specifically serverless offerings
  • 1-3 years of experience with the following:
  • Database interaction (SQL queries)
  • Infrastructure as code methodologies
  • Comfortable working remotely

Additional Knowledge, Skills, Traits & Abilities:

  • Experience in the agriculture industry.
  • Digital image and signal processing experience.
  • Experience in dealing with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data.
  • API development experience.
  • Experience building microservice oriented systems.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment methodologies.
  • Agile development.
  • Experience with the any of the following technologies:
  • Terraform
  • Docker
  • AWS Lambda, SQS, S3, API Gateway, ECS
  • GDAL
  • PostgreSQL and/or PostGIS
