Job description
We are searching for a senior IT and vendor operational professional to join our IT Team. This role serves as the Chief information Officer’s primary operational leader, with direct responsibility for the execution and oversight of IT service delivery, vendor risk management, and IT operational governance. This role ensures that internal IT operations and third-party service providers consistently meet defined service levels, adhere to regulatory requirements, and align with the Bank’s strategic objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own day-to-day IT operational oversight across internal staff and third-party managed service providers
- Ensure service delivery performance meets defined service level agreements (SLAs), including:
- Help Desk performance and responsiveness
- Infrastructure stability and uptime
- User onboarding and offboarding processes
- Act as the primary escalation point for IT/Vendor operational issues affecting business users
- Monitor and report on IT service performance metrics and drive continuous improvement with IT
- Provider oversight and governance for IT projects and initiatives, ensuring:
- Alignment with IT strategy and roadmap
- Defined scope, timelines, and accountability
- Coordination between internal teams and vendors
- Monitor project execution and escalate risks, delays, or resource gaps
- Ensure projects are delivered in a controlled, repeatable, and documented manner
- Design, implement, and maintain a vendor SLA and KPI scorecard
- Lead IT preparation for:
- Regulatory examinations (FDIC, FFIEC)
- Internal and external audits
- Coordinate and maintain audit-ready documentation, including:
- Policies and procedures
- Vendor documentation (SOC reports, contracts, risk assessments)
- Evidence of control execution
- Track and manage remediation of IT/Vendor audit findings to completion
- Maintain a continuous state of readiness, reducing reactive IT audit efforts
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
Do you have experience in Stakeholder management?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * A strong foundation in information technology in a governance role along with strong vendor management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
- 8+ years in an IT governance/vendor management and/or project management role
- Ability to work on call as needed
- The ability to troubleshoot complex problems
- Ability to coordinate and bring key stakeholders to decisions and move efforts forward
- Willingness/Ability to manage projects/project coordination
- Motivated self-starter
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
- Able to work both independently and as an integral part of a team
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Able to focus on key priorities and thrive in a complex and ever-changing environment
- Service oriented and patient in stressful and challenging situations
- Stay current on latest industry trends and technologies
- Willingness to learn and contribute to company’s financial growth and profitability

Base compensation for this position in Denver is expected to range from $100-130k annually. Actual starting pay will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications and market considerations. Additional compensation to include variable compensation bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
