Databricks Engineer

We are urgently hiring a Contract Databricks Data Engineer specializing in data privacy, scrubbing, and environment provisioning. The successful candidate or partner will be responsible for leveraging Databricks AI to completely remove PII from test bank data, generating a secure, synthetic test environment while maintaining critical data traceability., * Scrub and sanitize production bank data to completely eliminate PII.

• Establish a separate, isolated test environment utilizing the anonymized/synthetic data.
• Build a key/identifier framework to ensure data remains traceable and functional post-scrub.
• Navigate and operate efficiently within secure, access-restricted environments.
• Collaborate across timelines to support a future-state cloud migration from Azure to AWS.

Do you have experience in Public Cloud?, * Databricks (Required): Minimum 3+ years of intensive hands-on experience development.

• Data Scrubbing / Anonymization (Required): Demonstrated experience removing PII and creating secure test datasets.
• Databricks AI (Required): Practical application of Databricks AI tools for data processing and sanitization.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with Azure is required; experience or strong awareness of AWS infrastructure is highly preferred due to an upcoming migration., * Prior experience handling sensitive financial, healthcare, or bank data.
• Ability to scale delivery using a hybrid model (onshore leadership with offshore technical execution).
• Case studies or references from previous Databricks data masking projects.

$50 - $60 an hour - Full-time
