Job description
Provide Microsoft technical leadership across complex IT projects operating in Impact Levels (ILs) 4, 5, and 6. Work with our delivery teams and Microsoft across Navy customers, acting as a trusted technical leader & advisor to design, build, and support complex Microsoft solutions. Responsibilities include, Strategic Leadership: Serve as the technical leader of large Navy projects, providing leadership across cloud environments ensuring reliable solutions supporting the customer’s objectives. Program Execution: Oversee the design and development of Microsoft based solutions that align with customer requirements, DoDAF, and Navy standards. Provide technical leadership for the implementation of project workstreams built using Agile methodologies. Apply understanding of customer mission requirements and Microsoft capabilities to reduce project risk. Stakeholder Engagement: Gather customer requirements with a focus on best practices, process improvement, and support of customer mission. Provide clear Microsoft technical guidance with a focus on DevSecOps, security, governance, and compliance. Microsoft Issue Resolution: Work directly through Microsoft support channels to resolve product, solution, and platform production issues in a timely fashion.
Projected compensation for this position is $160K to $200K (annual USD). Final salary offered will generally fall in this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability and other organizational requirements.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Zero Trust security?, 10+ years of IT leadership experience, mostly with a large DoD/DoW Systems Integrator or as a Federal employee with focus on Microsoft-based contracts Led multiple Microsoft focused projects for Department of War (DoW) customers Specific experience supporting Microsoft solutions in IL4/5/6 environments, including Navy Flank Speed Strong knowledge of DoD/DoW standards and operating environments Strong knowledge and experience with Azure cloud services Proven track record in leading technical Microsoft projects following Agile methodologies in cloud-based, zero trust environments Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into executive-level briefs. Experience as the primary technical interface to senior DoW officials Active DoD secret or higher clearance Ability to work in the Washington Metro Area or Norfolk, VA area
Desirable Skills 5+ year of sales or presales experience including building and presenting demonstrations of solutions Ability to multi-task and prioritize independently Strong communication skills to concisely describe technical details in easy-to-understand language Understanding of the DoW ATO processes and deployments DoW / DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP or CISM). Microsoft Technical Certifications in a cloud technology and Artificial Intelligence domain
