Job description

The role will support the implementation of safety projects and tasks related to the Company s Safety Management System (SMS) in Edison Safety. The SMS ensures our safety efforts are working together, and provides a repeatable framework that relies on Worker and Leader Engagement to proactively identify and communicate safety risks, implement mitigation strategies, and continually improve the SMS. Responsibilities will include tasks in the areas of SMS Risk Management, SMS Management of Change (MoC), SMS Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) and Human Organizational Performance (HOP). Additional responsibilities include: Supporting peers with SMS implementation, tracking, presenting and analyzing complex information Analyzing data in risk, MoC and QA/QC applications (e.g., Excel, Enablon and PowerBI) Ability to escalate issues to Management Apply adjustments or improvements to processes based on risk, MoC and QA/QC efforts

Requirements

Proficient in managing complex projects concurrently

  • Capable of leading teams to follow processes and execute deliverables
  • Experience in using PowerPoint, Excel and basic tools, such as Pivot tables/charts
  • Experience with excellent written and verbal communication

Desired Skills/Attributes

  • Experience communicating to senior leaders and executives
  • Experience with Safety Management Systems
  • Experience working with an electric utility
