Safety Systems Analyst Advisor

The role will support the implementation of safety projects and tasks related to the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS) in Company Safety. The SMS ensures our safety efforts are working together, and provides a repeatable framework that relies on Worker and Leader Engagement to proactively identify and communicate safety risks, implement mitigation strategies, and continually improve the SMS.

Responsibilities will include tasks in the areas of SMS Risk Management, SMS Management of Change (MoC), SMS Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC), and Human Organizational Performance (HOP). Additional responsibilities include:

• Supporting peers with SMS implementation, tracking, presenting, and analyzing complex information
• Analyzing data in risk, MoC, and QA/QC applications (e.g., Excel, Enablon, and Power BI)
• Ability to escalate issues to Management
• Apply adjustments or improvements to processes based on risk, MoC, and QA/QC efforts

Do you have experience in Team leadership?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Proficient in managing complex projects concurrently

• Capable of leading teams to follow processes and execute deliverables
• Experience in using PowerPoint, Excel, and basic tools, such as Pivot tables/charts
• Experience with excellent written and verbal communication

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Desired Skills/Attributes:

• Experience communicating to senior leaders and executives
• Experience with Safety Management Systems
• Experience working with an electric utility, * Do you have experience supporting or implementing a Safety Management System (SMS). If yes, please provide total years of experience
• Have you participated in Management of Change (MoC) activities or projects
• Have you worked with Power BI reporting/dashboard tools? Yes or No
• Do you have experience with Quality Assurance or Quality Control processes?
• Have you worked in a regulated industry such as utilities, energy, manufacturing, or construction?
