Lead a team of developers, including performance reviews, mentoring, career path, and daily work management.
Participate in hiring and team composition planning.
Develop and enforce department processes including software development best practices.
Oversees project requirement gathering, technical specs, and Statement of Work (SOW) development.
Manage the development of project scope, timelines, budgets.
Manages internal and external project resources including vendors, contractors, consultants, and employees.
Help establish and achieve department financial objectives by assisting in the preparation of department budget, monitoring employee utilization, department expenditures; analyzing performance data, and initiating corrective actions.
Proactively remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress. Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities. Drive results proactively.
Act as a liaison between our company and clients who are considered “key accounts”. Work with your team to understand client needs, priorities, and potential software development opportunities. Lead critical project meetings and conference calls with clients.
Interfaces with other functional and technical groups such as IT and sales teams.

5+ years of experience in leading software development teams
5+ managing staff
Good understanding of various software programming techniques and software development tools is a must
Familiar with MS .NET, MS SQL database, MS Power BI, Angular
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven attention to detail
Good problem-solving skills
Good leadership skills
