Job description
The Lead Controls Solutions Specialist serves as the highest-level technical authority for lighting controls within the organization. This role leads complex and strategic projects, provides cross-functional leadership, and is responsible for field support and/or commissioning assistance when required., * Serve as the primary technical expert for lighting control systems and applications.
- Lead design strategy and execution for large, complex, or high-profile projects.
- Provide guidance and oversight to all Controls Solutions Specialists.
- Collaborate with sales leadership on project strategy and opportunity development.
- Review and approve complex system designs, quotations, and documentation.
- Act as escalation point for advanced technical and project issues.
- Lead coordination with manufacturers and key partners.
- Provide on-site field support, commissioning assistance, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Develop and deliver advanced training programs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in controls processes, standards, and tools.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Technical documentation?, * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in lighting controls or building systems.
- Expert-level knowledge of lighting controls, system integration, and energy codes.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
- Strong communication, project management, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced technical proficiency with controls platforms and documentation tools.
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing and able to travel to job sites for field support.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Proof of current auto insurance must be maintained and provided to the company.
