Job description

The Controls Solutions Specialist I provides technical support for lighting control projects from design through project completion. This role supports senior team members and serves as an internal resource for sales teams, customers, contractors, and manufacturers by assisting with basic controls layouts, product selection, and documentation., * Assist sales teams with basic lighting controls design and product selection.

  • Review project drawings and specifications with guidance.
  • Support development of control system layouts and diagrams under supervision.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, budgets, and bills of materials.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers for basic technical inquiries.
  • Support submittal preparation and documentation tracking.
  • Assist with troubleshooting support and escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Learn lighting control systems, energy codes, and product applications.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor communication?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in a related field preferred.

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems or construction documents.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to Bluebeam preferred.
