Job description
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers, analysts, and testers to deliver high-quality products.
- Develop, implement, and refine QA strategies, processes, and methodologies to support the continuous improvement of solutions.
- Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to establish QA objectives, testing scope, and success criteria.
- Oversee the creation of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure all systems are thoroughly validated.
- Manage the end-to-end QA lifecycle, from requirements analysis to post-deployment validation.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to software quality and performance.
- Evaluate new testing tools, technologies, and processes to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of the QA function.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing/QA with proven experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Postman, ReadyAPI, etc) and manual.
- 2 + years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, ReadyAPI, etc.).
- UI, Mobile App, and/or API Testing Experience
- Expertise in database management and testing, with knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and experience with database testing.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and testing of data pipelines.
- Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Postman, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and Appium.
- Experience in performance testing using tools like LoadRunner or JMeter to ensure high availability and reliability in a 24/7 airline environment.
- Understanding of security testing
- Azure DevOps
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Requirements:
- Certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Six Sigma, or Agile/Scrum certifications) are a plus.
- Airline sytems environment
- Bilingual (Spanish)
