Job description

  • Advanced Machine Learning: Apply deep learning and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to develop sophisticated data models and algorithms.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior data scientists, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Cloud Computing: Utilize cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) to deploy and manage data science projects.
  • Innovative Solutions: Develop and implement cutting-edge data solutions that drive business value and improve operational efficiency.
  • AI Tools and Capabilities: Leverage AI tools and adhere to Responsible AI (RAI) policies to ensure ethical and responsible use of AI technologies.
  • Metrics and Evaluation: Create metrics, measurements, and evaluation methods for both emerging and existing areas of AI to assess performance and impact.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

Requirements

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Scientist (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, advanced machine learning techniques, and a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative data solutions. This role requires leadership skills to mentor junior data scientists and a deep understanding of cloud computing platforms and AI tools., * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, analysis, and modeling.
  • Advanced machine learning techniques (deep learning, NLP).
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior data scientists.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative data solutions.
  • Good knowledge of AI tools and capabilities, Responsible AI (RAI) policies, and development of metrics, measurements, and evaluation methods for emerging and existing areas of AI.
  • Certifications:
  • Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
  • Advanced certifications in specific machine learning domains (Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing)
  • AWS Certified Machine Learning
  • TS/SCI Clearance

$94,400 - $198,200
