Job description

Mobile App Development

Write clean, maintainable, efficient code in React Native for Expo. Own features end-to-end - from the Uniwind-styled component to the API integration to the local data and state layer. Ship a fast, fluid experience on both iOS and Android.

Releases & OTA

Own the release pipeline using Expo Application Services (EAS Build & Submit). Manage App Store and Google Play submissions, and ship fixes and improvements between store releases with over-the-air updates.

Quality Assurance

Build robust testing processes - unit, integration, and end-to-end - plus real-device and QA testing across screen sizes and OS versions. Resolve technical issues during development and post-release.

Project Management

Work with non-technical stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and timelines. Track progress and flag risks early.

Data & Integrations

Consume RESTful APIs and manage on-device data, caching, and offline sync. Integrate health and fitness data across 500+ wearable devices and platform sources, including Apple HealthKit and Android Health Connect.

Monitoring & Performance

Use Sentry to monitor app health, debug crashes, and continuously improve performance - startup time, frame rates, bundle size, and battery impact.

Technologies you’ll use:

MOBILE - Expo · React Native · TypeScript

STYLING - Uniwind · AniUI

DATA & STATE - RESTful APIs · TanStack Query · Async/secure storage · Offline sync

DEVICE INTEGRATIONS - Terra Wearable Integration

RELEASES & INFRA - EAS Build & Submit · OTA updates · App Store · Google Play

TOOLING - Git · CI/CD · Sentry

  • Hands-on experience building and releasing apps with Expo and EAS in production environments
  • Experience styling with Uniwind, NativeWind, or a comparable utility-first / Tailwind-based approach for React Native
  • Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, navigation, state management, and RESTful API integration
  • Experience with the mobile release lifecycle - store submissions, versioning, and OTA updates
  • Comfort working with native modules and bridging when a managed workflow isn’t enough
