OutSystems Senior Architect

We are looking for an OutSystems Senior Architect to join our Low Code Team as a Technical Analyst 5. This is a senior technical leadership role where you will set the strategic technology direction for the organization, mentor and elevate the team around you, and serve as the bridge between technical excellence and commercial outcomes. You will work directly with Sales and Solution Delivery teams to shape deals, win client trust, and define the architecture that powers our most complex engagements., Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Architect innovative, scalable, and secure solutions for enterprise clients across web, mobile, and business process domains.
• Serve as the primary technical authority on the organization’s most critical and complex engagements.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, piloting adoption in controlled initiatives.
• Advocate for sustainable, high-quality code and development practices across the team.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve development efficiency and organizational capability.

Pre-Sales & Client Advisory

• Partner with the Sales team on pre-sales discovery, proof-of-concept delivery, and solution proposals.
• Translate client business goals into concrete solution designs, including effort estimates, delivery timelines, and risk assumptions.
• Design and deliver strategic technical presentations and workshops for executive and architect audiences.
• Conduct proactive technical discovery to surface pain points and identify high-value opportunities for clients and Accelerated Focus.

Mentorship & Organizational Growth

• Directly manage a team of Technical Analysts, providing day-to-day leadership, performance oversight, and professional development.
• Mentor TA4 and below on advanced architecture, leadership skills, and decision-making frameworks.
• Coordinate with peers to ensure consistent standards, workload balance, and knowledge sharing across the Low Code Team.
• Contribute to organizational growth decisions in collaboration with the Head of Low Code.
• Represent Accelerated Focus in industry conversations and thought leadership., Accelerated Focus uses AI tools in parts of our hiring and operations processes. We are committed to transparency about how these tools are used:
• Initial Screening Calls: Candidates selected from applications will be contacted for an automated initial screening call conducted by a Fireflies AI agent. • Further Interviews: Additional interviews with human team members will be conducted via video/phone and may also be recorded using Fireflies.ai for transcription and note accuracy. By participating in interviews with Accelerated Focus, you acknowledge that meetings may be recorded and transcribed.

Do you have experience in Technology sales?, * Post-secondary education in computer science or equivalent practical experience.

• 10+ years of experience in coding and database programming, including customer-facing solution architecture or pre-sales consulting roles.
• 5+ years of leadership and coaching experience.
• 4+ years leading technical strategy for enterprise-level engagements or solution design initiatives.
• Proven experience in architectural leadership, strategic innovation, and technology adoption.
• Experience contributing to organizational and strategic growth projects.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams across multiple concurrent projects.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proficiency in at minimum 5 development languages.
• Advanced code architecture and design skills.
• Deep knowledge of agentic systems, web and mobile application development, and business process modeling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to build compelling narratives for both technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to run effective technical discovery sessions and convert findings into actionable solution recommendations.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, high-stakes pre-sales and advisory contexts where technical judgment directly influences commercial outcomes.
• Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to influence commercial outcomes through technical positioning.
• Adaptable analytical problem-solving skills and comfort with evolving technologies.

$90,000 - $155,000 a year - Full-time, Pulled from the full job description

• Internet reimbursement, Base salary ranges from $90,000 - $155,000 USD for US-based candidates, or €80,000 - €95,000 EUR for Portugal-based candidates, paid in local currency through our global payroll provider. Final compensation is determined based on location, local market rates, and experience.
