Job description

Design and build scalable backend systems and APIs for the data platform
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define effective solutions
Articulate technical decisions and their impact on customers and the team
Troubleshoot and enhance system reliability through debugging and operational improvements
Participate in the on-call rotation for managed services

Requirements

2+ years of experience in production-grade coding using modern programming languages
Proficient in programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, or similar
Experience with large-scale distributed systems on cloud platforms like AWS
Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
Familiarity with large-scale asynchronous processing systems
Understanding of CI/CD practices for shipping services
Strong software engineering knowledge for scalable system design
Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts
