Job description

  • Design and implement medium-complexity, scalable solutions
  • Create clear technical design documents to guide implementation
  • Write modular, reusable, and testable code while ensuring testing standards are met
  • Provide constructive code review feedback focusing on quality and coverage
  • Manage technical debt by proposing fixes and prioritizing work
  • Engage in product discovery to validate user needs with prototypes
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure seamless integration of systems
  • Set up basic observability for systems and resolve minor issues
  • Break down projects into tasks and drive them through to delivery
  • Analyze user feedback and performance metrics to drive improvements
  • Document technical processes and systems developed
  • Assist in the hiring process and mentor new team members

Requirements

  • 3+ years as a software engineer with production experience
  • Background in distributed systems and microservices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
  • Experience in scalable web applications, ideally in cloud environments
  • Proficient in Kubernetes, AWS, and front-end/back-end technologies (e.g., React, Node.js)
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with agile development and CI/CD practices
