Job description

  • Design, develop, modify, debug, and maintain software code in line with functional, non-functional, and technical specifications.
  • Follow software engineering standards, development methodologies, and release processes to ensure scalable, maintainable, and supportable solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve issues through code reviews, debugging, and implementation of fixes or workarounds.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Take technical ownership of assigned components and provide design support for new requirements.
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiency across assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrate software solutions to partners and stakeholders as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  • 3-4 years of experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
  • Strong experience developing RESTful APIs.
  • 3-4 years of experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Couchbase, or MongoDB.
  • Proven experience building microservices using Java Spring Boot.
